Private Medical Recruitment for the Gulf | UK & European Trained Specialists

Medical Staff Talent is appointing a UK & European-trained Consultant Dermatologist to a private family in Dubai, leading aesthetic and longevity dermatology for a Principal and immediate family from a private treatment suite.

See our guide to Dermatology & Aesthetic Longevity Consultant demand in the Gulf for the market context behind this mandate — boutique aesthetic and longevity dermatology is one of the fastest-growing appointment types we place into private families.

The Mandate

  • Design and delivery of aesthetic and longevity dermatology programming for a Principal and immediate family.
  • Clinical oversight of a private treatment suite, provisioned to current aesthetic and dermatological practice.
  • Coordination with visiting specialists on integrated longevity protocols.
  • Absolute discretion under NDA.

Candidate Requirements

  • CCT/CCST in Dermatology, or an equivalent European fellowship, from a Tier-1 UK or European institution.
  • Minimum six years post-certification consultant-grade experience, including aesthetic and longevity practice.
  • Demonstrated discretion in confidential household environments.
  • Fluent English.
  • Availability to start within six weeks of offer.
  • Complete flexibility around the family’s calendar.
  • The ability to relocate alone and to travel with the family worldwide, often at short notice.

Package

  • £260,000 – £350,000 per annum, tax-free and liquid
  • Private accommodation within the residence and relocation arranged by the family
  • Annual leave with flights home and long-term contract stability

Scope of Our Role

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.

What this appointment asks of you

A private family in Dubai has built a private treatment suite for aesthetic and longevity dermatology, and the consultant runs it: skin health and photoprotection programming, regenerative and aesthetic procedures, surveillance for skin malignancy, and coordination with visiting specialists on integrated longevity protocols. Dubai’s aesthetic market is sophisticated and the family is correspondingly well informed, so the consultant must be able to advise with candour about what works, what is fashionable and what is unsafe. Six years of consultant-grade experience including aesthetic and longevity practice is the threshold; procedural excellence, meticulous consent practice and discretion are the qualities the family will assess.

Reading the package

Base remuneration for this appointment is £260,000 – £350,000 per annum, paid without deduction: there is no personal income tax on employment earnings in the UAE, which is why a Gulf figure should never be compared line-for-line with a gross UK or European salary.

Private accommodation within the residence, transport and flights are provided in addition to base; before signing, confirm how indemnity will be arranged and read the policy territory and the run-off provision — medical liability in the UAE and Saudi Arabia sets out the questions to ask.

An end-of-service gratuity accrues for every completed year of service and is settled on departure — see end-of-service gratuity and repatriation for the calculation and the contract clauses that govern it.

Your home-country tax position on departure — split-year treatment for UK residents, exit formalities elsewhere in Europe — is worth settling with an independent cross-border adviser before the first salary lands, and cost of living and net position for Gulf clinicians gives the household-level numbers.

Run your own comparison with the UK versus GCC net position calculator or the Gulf net package estimator; we are happy to walk through the result with you before any interview.

Living in Dubai

The city is easy to arrive in and easy to leave from, which matters when a household travels as much as this one: Dubai International sits twenty minutes from most of the city and flies direct to London, Zurich, Athens and the main European hubs. Accommodation within the residence is provided by the family, which removes the one part of Dubai relocation that is genuinely difficult. When you travel with the family, all local arrangements (visa, licensing and coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.

For days off there is the coast, the desert, the sporting calendar and a restaurant scene that is now among the best in the world. Every appointment is single-status — the families we work with require clinicians who relocate alone. Read the cultural adjustment guide for the unwritten rules.

How the search is run

We run this search as a full-cycle search under a retained, confidential mandate. The first conversation is with Vanessa, our Executive Search Lead, and it is a briefing rather than a screening: what the appointment involves day to day, what the household selects for, and whether it fits the life you want. Your CV goes nowhere until you say so.

If you proceed, your credentials are verified, the household is briefed on an anonymised profile, and interviews run by video before an in-person meeting arranged by the family. Offer, NDA and contract are agreed directly between you and the family. The time-to-hire estimator gives realistic timings for a physician appointment; confidential hiring process and confidentiality, NDA and vetting explain the household’s side of the process.
