Medical Staff Talent is appointing a UK & European-trained Consultant Interventional Cardiologist to a private family’s medical office in Riyadh, providing sole clinical charge of cardiac diagnostics and intervention for a Principal and immediate family.

The Mandate

  • Sole clinical charge of cardiac diagnostics, intervention and long-term cardiovascular risk management.
  • Direct procurement input over catheterisation laboratory and diagnostic imaging equipment.

Candidate Requirements

  • CCT/CCST in Cardiology with interventional sub-specialisation, or an equivalent European fellowship, from a Tier-1 UK or European institution.
  • Minimum eight years post-certification consultant-grade interventional practice.
  • Demonstrated discretion in confidential household environments.
  • Fluent English.
  • Availability to start within six weeks of offer.
  • Complete flexibility around the family’s calendar.
  • The ability to relocate alone and to travel with the family worldwide, often at short notice.

Scope of Our Role

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.

What this appointment asks of you

Sole clinical charge of cardiac diagnostics, intervention and long-term cardiovascular risk management for a Principal and immediate family, from a suite provisioned through an unconstrained procurement pipeline with current-generation catheterisation and diagnostic imaging infrastructure. The consultant specifies the equipment, sets the surveillance programme and coordinates with the household’s wider medical team and visiting specialists. It is the most sharply priced cardiology configuration on our desk because the combination of interventional capability and continuity is rare. Eight years of consultant-grade interventional practice is the threshold; the Riyadh household will look for procedural excellence, conservative judgement about when not to intervene, and the discretion appropriate to a private family’s medical office.

Base remuneration for this appointment is £320,000 – £420,000 per annum, paid without deduction: there is no personal income tax on employment earnings in Saudi Arabia, which is why a Gulf figure should never be compared line-for-line with a gross UK or European salary.

Living in Riyadh
