Medical Staff Talent is appointing a Western-trained Consultant to a premium private hospital in Abu Dhabi, with direct access to advanced surgical infrastructure and genuine influence over departmental procurement.

The Mandate

This is a permanent consultant appointment within a tertiary private facility serving a discerning domestic and international patient base. The successful clinician carries autonomous case management, contributes to service design, and holds a substantive voice in capital equipment decisions.

Clinical Environment

The facility operates a high-fidelity surgical estate — robotic platforms, advanced intraoperative imaging, and hybrid theatre capability — maintained to a specification that Western public systems rarely sustain. Procurement is unconstrained: where the clinical case is made, the instrumentation follows.

Case mix is complex rather than high-volume. The institution competes on outcome and discretion, not throughput.

Requirements

• Board-certified Consultant with a minimum of eight years’ post-fellowship experience in a comparable tertiary or quaternary setting
• Training and licensure in a Tier-1 Western system — UK, Ireland, North America, Oceania, or Western and Northern Europe; select Southern European jurisdictions considered
• Substantive operative or interventional logbook appropriate to the specialty
• Fluent English
