Medical Staff Talent is appointing a Western-trained Senior Consultant Surgeon to the role of Chief Clinical Strategist at a flagship private hospital group in Dubai.

This is a directorship, not a service appointment. The successful surgeon holds both administrative and clinical authority over the surgical division, drawing on unconstrained institutional budgets to set operational standards for the region.

The Mandate

• Absolute clinical and administrative authority over the surgical division of a flagship facility.
• Unconstrained institutional budget — procurement decisions are clinical, not committee-led.
• Strategic governance of cross-functional departments alongside an active operative list.
• Leadership of specialised international consultants across advanced operative pathways.
• Interface with prominent business leaders and dignitaries as the institution’s clinical figurehead.

Candidate Requirements

• Tier-1 Western board certification — FRCS via CCT/CCST, American or Canadian Board, or Swiss specialist title.
• Minimum seven years post-specialisation consultant experience.
• Demonstrated surgical excellence and clinical directorship within a recognised Western teaching hospital.
• Polished executive presence and the cultural agility to operate at head-of-institution level.
• Eligibility for DHA licensing.

• £330,000 – £430,000 per annum, fully tax-free and liquid, paid monthly with zero local deductions.
