We are appointing an experienced Western-trained Private Physician for a full-time, permanent mandate in Dubai. This role delivers patient-centred care to a VIP Principal within a stable, high-trust environment.
Unlike rotational locum roles, this position demands total clinical continuity. You will lead clinical assessment, optimise chronic conditions, and handle acute presentations across the Principal’s private residence and during international travel aboard a private yacht.
🩺 Key Responsibilities & Clinical Duties
Clinical Leadership: Lead the ongoing medical management of the Principal, including the optimisation of chronic conditions and immediate response to acute presentations. You will make critical clinical decisions with autonomy.
🏥 Care Coordination: Act as the central point of contact for all medical needs. You will coordinate diagnostics and sub-specialty input with premium private hospitals and clinics in Dubai, London, or Zurich, ensuring a seamless patient journey.
🛥️ Remote & Yacht Medicine: Maintain precise standards of care during international travel. You must be comfortable managing medical logistics and emergencies in remote environments (aviation/maritime) with limited resources.
🤝 Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate closely with a standards-first private team, including a Private Nurse, Physiotherapist, and Security detail. Clear, discreet communication with the family office is essential.
🎓 Professional Requirements (The Standard)
Western Training: Medical Degree (MD/MBBS) from a recognised institution in the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand.
Experience: Minimum 5+ years post-specialisation (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine preferred).
📜 Licensing: Must be eligible for DHA (Dubai Health Authority) licensing without restriction.
🗣️ Language: Native English speaker is required for precise clinical communication.
🤐 Discretion: A proven history of protocol-led practice within private or UHNW settings.
✈️ Flexibility: Willingness to undertake international travel, specifically yacht itineraries, with all logistics handled by the household.
