Confidentiality, NDAs & Vetting
How Medical Staff Talent protects Private Families, their Family Offices and principals throughout every clinical placement.
Discretion is not a courtesy we extend to Private Family and Family Office clients — it is the operating standard for every mandate we accept, regardless of size. This page sets out, in full, how confidentiality is protected from first brief to placement, so your Chief of Staff or Private Office can approve the process with confidence.
Operating Standard
Discretion Is the Default, Not an Add-On
One confidentiality standard, applied to every mandate
A household does not have to negotiate for privacy. Non-disclosure precedes disclosure at every stage: candidates sign before they are briefed, identities are released only inside an agreed circle of contact, and candidate information is held by a limited number of named consultants for the duration of the search only. Your Private Office can approve the process on paper before a single name is discussed.
Request a Confidential Brief →The Household Is Never Named
No Private Family or Family Office is ever named in public: not on our website, not on a job board, not on social media. A mandate that a family instructs us to keep confidential is not published anywhere; candidates are identified and approached individually from our existing, pre-vetted network, and briefed on the opportunity only after signing a non-disclosure agreement. Where a family expressly authorises it, a vacancy is advertised in anonymised form: the role, the city and the package, never a name, a residence or any other identifying detail.
Candidate Vetting Standard
- Credential verification: primary source verification of qualifications, board certification and licensing history.
- Reference checks: direct verification with prior employers, with particular attention to discretion and conduct in private or high-profile settings.
- Clinical background review: assessment of clinical trajectory and specialty fit against the mandate.
- Discretion and continuity assessment: an additional layer specific to Private Family and Family Office mandates, evaluating temperament, judgement and long-term fit for a private, in-residence environment.
Standard NDA Structure
Every engagement is governed by a non-disclosure agreement covering the household or family office identity, the nature of the role, and any information shared during the search. Candidates sign an NDA before receiving mandate details; clients receive candidate information only within the agreed circle of contact. Terms can be tailored further where a household’s existing legal counsel requires bespoke language.
Chain of Custody for Candidate Information
Candidate CVs, references and personal information are handled by a limited number of named consultants at Medical Staff Talent, never distributed beyond the individuals actively working the mandate, and retained only as long as necessary for the search — consistent with our Privacy Policy and GDPR commitments.

For family offices, chiefs of staff and private offices
The Household Medical Commissioning Brief sets out how to appoint a private clinical team without exposing the principal: the five engagement models (Live-In, Rotational, Fixed-Term, Travelling, Locum), indemnity inside a residence, why private nurses are placed in pairs, and a twelve-point commissioning checklist. No household is named.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will our household or family office ever be named publicly during a search?
No. Your identity is disclosed only to individually approached candidates after they have signed an NDA, and never as part of a public listing or broader broadcast.
Can we require our own NDA or legal terms instead of your standard agreement?
Yes. Our standard NDA structure can be adapted to reflect terms required by your household’s or family office’s existing legal counsel.
Who at Medical Staff Talent has access to our mandate details?
Only the named consultants actively working your search have access to mandate and candidate details — information is never distributed more broadly within the firm.
How are candidates checked for discretion, not just clinical skill?
Beyond standard credential and reference checks, Private Family and Family Office candidates undergo an additional discretion and continuity assessment evaluating their temperament and track record in private, high-profile settings.
Scope of Engagement
What Medical Staff Talent Does, and What It Does Not Do
Stated plainly, so that nothing has to be corrected later
Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
Medical Staff Talent does not advise on licensing, visas or sponsorship; these matters are handled by the family’s own office and advisers.
