Travelling Nurse Pair — Private Jet & Yacht Travel with a Private Family, Abu Dhabi

A private family in Abu Dhabi has asked Medical Staff Talent to introduce a pair of UK & European-trained Travelling Nurses. The family spends much of the year travelling by private jet and, in summer, on its yacht in Europe, and wants two nurses who travel with them.

The family always employs two nurses so that care never depends on one person. The two nurses alternate 12-hour day and night shifts, with a handover at each change.

The Mandate

• Nursing care for family members during flights, on the yacht and at destinations.
• Preparing medical kits and medication for each journey.
• First response to illness or injury, with escalation to the family physician.
• Supporting the household at the Abu Dhabi residence between trips.
• Complete confidentiality, under a strict non-disclosure agreement.

Requirements

• Registered nurse trained in the UK or Europe, with acute or emergency experience and confidence working alone while travelling.
• At least 6 years of post-registration experience.
• Comfortable working as one of two nurses alternating 8- or 12-hour shifts, with careful handovers.
• Experience nursing at sea or in remote settings is valued.
• Fluent English and a calm, courteous manner.
• Availability to begin within six weeks of offer.
• Willingness to relocate alone to a live-in, single-status appointment, and to travel worldwide with the family at short notice.
• Arabic language skills are a strong advantage.

Package

• From €5,000 a month.
• Medical insurance is covered; professional indemnity insurance is not included.
• Flights and travel are always paid for by the family.
• The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.
• Private accommodation in the residence, provided free.
• Permanent role with annual leave, under a contract renewed yearly with the family.

Scope of Engagement

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
