Travelling Family Medicine Physician — Multigenerational Household, Jeddah

Medical Staff Talent is searching for a UK & European-trained Travelling Family Medicine Physician for a private family based in Jeddah. Three generations live under one roof, from grandparents with long-term conditions to teenagers, and the family wants a single physician holding the whole picture.

Travel with the family is frequent — European summers, the family yacht and trips arranged at short notice. As is usual for household appointments in the Gulf, the family expects availability around the clock and a six-day working week.

The Mandate

• Continuity care across three generations, from chronic disease reviews for the grandparents to adolescent health for the youngest.
• Medication reconciliation and polypharmacy review for older family members, with the household nurses.
• One shared plan for specialists, hospital episodes and follow-up, so nothing falls between appointments.
• Accompanying family members on travel, sometimes with different branches of the family in different places.
• Absolute discretion under a strict NDA.

Requirements

• CCT in General Practice or a European family medicine equivalent, with confident management of older adults and multimorbidity.
• At least 10 years of independent practice in UK or European general practice or family medicine.
• Full registration, in good standing, with a UK or European medical regulator.
• Experience of end-of-life and palliative care at home is valued.
• Fluent English.
• Able to start within six weeks of an offer.
• Live-in and single-status: you relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice.

Package

• £218,000 per annum gross, with free accommodation, flights and travel paid, and medical insurance covered (professional indemnity insurance is not included).
• The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.
• Accommodation within the residence, entirely free of charge.
• A permanent appointment with annual leave; the contract is renewed each year between the family and the clinician.

Scope of Engagement

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
