PICU Paediatric Critical Care Nurse Pair — Private Family, Riyadh

Medical Staff Talent is searching for two UK & European-trained PICU-experienced Paediatric Nurses for a private family based in Riyadh. A young child with a rare metabolic condition is cared for at home, and the family wants two nurses with PICU experience.

The family always employs two nurses so that care never depends on one person. The two permanent nurses alternate daily 12-hour shifts, so that one of them is always on duty. The rhythm follows the family rather than a rota: a six-day week, with availability at any hour when needed.

The Mandate

• Specialist paediatric nursing: feeding regimes, medication and monitoring.
• Rapid recognition of metabolic crisis and escalation.
• Working with the child’s metabolic and paediatric specialists.
• Supporting family life, schooling and travel.
• Strict observance of household protocol and the family’s NDA.

Requirements

• Registered nurse trained in the UK or Europe, with paediatric intensive care (PICU) experience.
• At least 6 years of post-registration experience.
• Comfortable working as one of two nurses alternating 8- or 12-hour shifts, with careful handovers.
• A paediatric critical care qualification is valued.
• Fluent English and proven discretion in private settings.
• Availability to begin within six weeks of offer.
• Able to relocate alone (live-in, single-status) and to travel anywhere in the world with the family, often at short notice.

Package

• From €5,000 a month.
• The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.
• Fully free accommodation within the family’s residence.
• Permanent, with annual leave and a contract that is renewed every year.
• Visas for international travel are arranged and paid for by the family.

Scope of Engagement

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
