PICU Paediatric Critical Care Nurse Pair — Private Family, Jeddah

Medical Staff Talent is introducing two UK & European-trained PICU-experienced Paediatric Nurses to a private family in Jeddah. A child with a complex neurological condition needs specialist nursing at home and on family trips.

The family always employs two nurses so that care never depends on one person. The two nurses alternate 12-hour day and night shifts, with a handover at each change. Six-day weeks and 24/7 availability are normal in Gulf household appointments, and the family plans around both.

The Mandate

• Complex paediatric nursing: seizures, feeding and airway management.
• Coordination with the paediatric neurologist and therapists.
• Clear escalation plans at home and while travelling.
• Supporting siblings and parents in daily life.
• Absolute discretion under a strict NDA.

Requirements

• Registered nurse trained in the UK or Europe, with paediatric intensive care (PICU) experience.
• At least 6 years of post-registration experience.
• Comfortable working as one of two nurses alternating 8- or 12-hour shifts, with careful handovers.
• EPLS or APLS certification is valued.
• Fluent English.
• Able to start within six weeks of an offer.
• Live-in and single-status: you relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice.

Package

• From €5,000 a month.
• Medical insurance is covered; professional indemnity insurance is not included.
• Flights and travel are always paid for by the family.
• The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.
• Accommodation within the residence, entirely free of charge.
• A permanent appointment with annual leave; the contract is renewed each year between the family and the clinician.

Scope of Engagement

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
