Longevity & Mobility Physiotherapist for Older Adults — Private Family, Riyadh

A private family in Riyadh has asked Medical Staff Talent to introduce a UK & European-trained Physiotherapist specialising in mobility for older adults. The family’s matriarch wants to keep walking in her garden and travelling with her grandchildren, and the family wants a physiotherapist to help her do it.

Expect regular travel with the family, including summers in Europe and periods on the family yacht. The rhythm follows the family rather than a rota: a six-day week, with availability at any hour when needed.

The Mandate

• A daily strength, balance and walking programme for an older family member.
• Falls prevention across the residence, with practical changes agreed with the household.
• Working with the household nurses and family physician on a shared plan.
• Supporting safe travel, including airport and hotel mobility.
• Absolute discretion under a strict NDA.

Requirements

• Physiotherapy degree from a UK or European institution, with substantial experience in older-adult rehabilitation, falls prevention and frailty.
• At least 8 years of post-qualification clinical experience.
• Full registration, in good standing, with a UK or European regulator.
• Experience with Otago or equivalent falls-prevention programmes is valued.
• Fluent English.
• Able to start within six weeks of an offer.
• Live-in and single-status: you relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice.

Package

• From £60,000 a year gross, depending on experience.
• Medical insurance is covered; professional indemnity insurance is not included.
• Flights and travel are always paid for by the family.
• The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.
• Accommodation within the residence, entirely free of charge.
• A permanent appointment with annual leave; the contract is renewed each year between the family and the clinician.

Scope of Engagement

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
