Post-Operative Recovery Nurse Pair — Private Family, Riyadh

Medical Staff Talent is introducing two UK & European-trained Post-Operative Recovery Nurses to a private family in Riyadh. The family has asked for two nurses to manage recovery after a family member’s planned abdominal surgery, at home and during travel for follow-up.

The family always employs two nurses so that care never depends on one person. The two permanent nurses alternate daily 8-hour shifts, with on-call cover overnight. Availability 24/7 and a six-day week are part of the appointment, as is usual with private families in the Gulf.

The Mandate

• Post-operative care: wound management, nutrition, pain and mobility.
• Following the surgical team’s plan and arranging follow-up.
• Recognising complications early and escalating.
• Travelling with the patient for review appointments abroad.
• Absolute discretion under a strict NDA.

Requirements

• Registered nurse trained in the UK or Europe, with surgical ward, recovery or post-operative experience.
• At least 5 years of post-registration experience.
• Comfortable working as one of two nurses alternating 8- or 12-hour shifts, with careful handovers.
• Experience in theatre recovery or a surgical high-dependency unit is valued.
• Fluent English.
• Able to start within six weeks of an offer.
• Live-in and single-status: you relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice.

Package

• From €5,000 a month.
• The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.
• Accommodation within the residence, entirely free of charge.
• A permanent appointment with annual leave; the contract is renewed each year between the family and the clinician.
• The family arranges and pays for the visas needed for travel abroad.

Scope of Engagement

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
