Longevity & Mobility Physiotherapist for Older Adults — Private Family, Jeddah

Medical Staff Talent is introducing a UK & European-trained Physiotherapist specialising in mobility for older adults to a private family in Jeddah. The family wants its older members to stay strong and independent, and has asked for a physiotherapist to lead their daily programme.

The family travels often, including European summers and time on its yacht, and the treatment plan travels with it. Six-day weeks and 24/7 availability are normal in Gulf household appointments, and the family plans around both.

The Mandate

• Strength, balance and walking programmes for two older family members.
• Home falls-risk review and practical changes with the household team.
• A shared care plan with the family physician and nurses.
• Support for safe travel to the family’s other residences.
• Complete confidentiality, under a strict non-disclosure agreement.

Requirements

• Physiotherapy degree from a UK or European institution, with substantial experience in older-adult rehabilitation, falls prevention and frailty.
• At least 8 years of post-qualification clinical experience.
• Full registration, in good standing, with a UK or European regulator.
• Experience in community or intermediate care for older adults is valued.
• Fluent English and a calm, courteous manner.
• Availability to begin within six weeks of offer.
• Willingness to relocate alone to a live-in, single-status appointment, and to travel worldwide with the family at short notice.
• Arabic language skills are a strong advantage.

Package

• £70,000–£110,000 per annum gross, depending on experience.
• The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.
• Private accommodation in the residence, provided free.
• Permanent role with annual leave, under a contract renewed yearly with the family.
• Visas for international travel are arranged and paid for by the family.

Scope of Engagement

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
