Neurological Rehabilitation Physiotherapist — Private Family, Dammam

Medical Staff Talent is introducing a UK & European-trained Neurological Rehabilitation Physiotherapist to a private family in Dammam, in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. An older family member is living with multiple sclerosis, and the family wants a physiotherapist who will help keep function and independence for as long as possible.

The family travels often, including European summers and time on its yacht, and the treatment plan travels with it. Six-day weeks and 24/7 availability are normal in Gulf household appointments, and the family plans around both.

The Mandate

• A long-term neurological programme for mobility, balance, fatigue and function.
• Review with the neurologist and family physician as needs change.
• Guidance for nurses and carers on positioning and safe mobility.
• Planning for travel and seasonal changes in routine.
• Strict observance of household protocol and the family’s NDA.

Requirements

• Physiotherapy degree from a UK or European institution, with substantive neurological rehabilitation practice (stroke, brain injury or movement disorders).
• At least 7 years of post-qualification clinical experience.
• Full registration, in good standing, with a UK or European regulator.
• Bobath, NDT or equivalent postgraduate neurological training is valued.
• Fluent English and proven discretion in private settings.
• Availability to begin within six weeks of offer.
• Able to relocate alone (live-in, single-status) and to travel anywhere in the world with the family, often at short notice.

Package

• £80,000–£115,000 per annum gross, depending on experience.
• The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.
• Fully free accommodation within the family’s residence.
• Permanent, with annual leave and a contract that is renewed every year.
• Visas for international travel are arranged and paid for by the family.

Scope of Engagement

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
