Neurological Rehabilitation Physiotherapist — Private Family, Riyadh

Medical Staff Talent is appointing a UK & European-trained Neurological Rehabilitation Physiotherapist to a private family in Riyadh, leading one-to-one neurological rehabilitation for a senior member of the family from a private rehabilitation suite within the residence.

The programme spans mobility, balance, gait, upper-limb function and falls prevention, delivered daily and coordinated with the visiting neurologist, rehabilitation physician and the household’s nursing team.

The Mandate

• One-to-one neurological rehabilitation for a senior member of the household — post-stroke, movement disorder or spinal presentation — from a private rehabilitation suite.
• Programme design and daily delivery across mobility, balance, gait, upper-limb function and falls prevention, with measured outcomes.
• Close liaison with the visiting neurologist, rehabilitation physician, occupational therapy and the household’s nursing team.
• Absolute discretion under NDA.

Candidate Requirements

• Physiotherapy qualification from a Tier-1 UK or European institution, with current registration (HCPC, CORU or an equivalent European regulator).
• Minimum six years’ experience, including substantive neurological rehabilitation practice in a stroke unit or neuro-rehabilitation centre; Bobath/NDT or equivalent postgraduate training is valued.
• Demonstrated discretion in confidential household environments.
• Fluent English.
• Availability to start within six weeks of offer.
• Complete flexibility around the family’s calendar.
• The ability to relocate alone and to travel with the family worldwide, often at short notice.

Scope of Our Role

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.

What this appointment asks of you

Neurological rehabilitation inside a private family residence is a long game played daily. The physiotherapist owns the programme for a senior member of the family: assessment, goal-setting with the family and the visiting neurologist, daily sessions across mobility, balance, gait and upper-limb function, falls prevention across the residence, and the measured outcomes that show the household what is being achieved. The suite is private and well equipped; the team around the patient — rehabilitation physician, occupational therapy, nurses — is coordinated by the physiotherapist for everything that touches movement. Six years including substantive stroke or neuro-rehabilitation practice is the threshold; the Riyadh household will select for patience, clinical reasoning and the discretion that senior family members expect.

Base remuneration for this appointment is £82,000 – £108,000 per annum, paid without deduction: there is no personal income tax on employment earnings in Saudi Arabia, which is why a Gulf figure should never be compared line-for-line with a gross UK or European salary.
