Neurological Rehabilitation Physiotherapist — Private Family Estate, Dubai

Medical Staff Talent is appointing a UK & European-trained Neurological Rehabilitation Physiotherapist to a private family estate in Dubai, leading one-to-one neurological rehabilitation for a Principal from a private suite within the residence.

The programme is intensive and long-term — mobility, balance, gait and upper-limb function — and is coordinated with the Principal’s neurologist, rehabilitation physician and private nursing team.

The Mandate

• One-to-one neurological rehabilitation for a Principal — post-stroke, movement disorder or spinal presentation — from a private suite on the estate.
• Programme design and daily delivery across mobility, balance, gait, upper-limb function and falls prevention, with measured outcomes reported to the family.
• Liaison with the Principal’s neurologist, rehabilitation physician, occupational therapy and private nursing team, including travel rehabilitation planning.
• Absolute discretion under NDA.

Candidate Requirements

• Physiotherapy qualification from a Tier-1 UK or European institution, with current registration (HCPC, CORU or an equivalent European regulator).
• Minimum six years’ experience, including substantive neurological rehabilitation practice in a stroke unit or neuro-rehabilitation centre; Bobath/NDT or equivalent postgraduate training is valued.
• Demonstrated discretion in confidential household environments.
• Fluent English.
• Availability to start within six weeks of offer.
• Complete flexibility around the family’s calendar.
• The ability to relocate alone and to travel with the family worldwide, often at short notice.

Scope of Our Role

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.

What this appointment asks of you

The estate has built a rehabilitation suite around one Principal, and the physiotherapist who runs it will define what recovery looks like for the family. That means assessment and goal-setting with the neurologist, daily one-to-one sessions across mobility, balance, gait and upper-limb function, falls prevention throughout the residence, and outcomes measured and reported in language the family understands. Dubai’s rehabilitation and neurology centres are available when they are needed; the estate provides the continuity, and it expects the physiotherapist to travel with the Principal when the household moves. Six years including substantive neuro-rehabilitation practice is the threshold; the family will select for clinical reasoning, patience and discretion.

How the package is structured

The figure quoted above — £80,000 – £105,000 per annum — is base remuneration, and it is paid tax-free: the UAE levies no personal income tax on employment earnings, so the number on the offer is the number that arrives.

Accommodation and flights are provided in addition to base, which is what makes the net position so different from a UK or European salary: with housing and travel carried by the household, most of the base figure is savings capacity.
