Paediatric Physiotherapist — Private Family, Al Khobar

Medical Staff Talent is searching for a UK & European-trained Paediatric Physiotherapist for a private family based in Al Khobar, in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. A young child in the family needs daily physiotherapy for low muscle tone, and the family wants a dedicated clinician at home.

Expect regular travel with the family, including summers in Europe and periods on the family yacht. As is usual for household appointments in the Gulf, the family expects availability around the clock and a six-day working week.

The Mandate

• Daily paediatric physiotherapy built around play and motor milestones.
• Working with the paediatrician and other therapists on shared goals.
• Coaching parents and nannies to support the programme.
• Continuity of therapy during family travel.
• Absolute discretion under a strict NDA.

Requirements

• Physiotherapy degree from a UK or European institution, with substantial paediatric experience (developmental, orthopaedic or neurodisability).
• At least 6 years of post-qualification clinical experience.
• Full registration, in good standing, with a UK or European regulator.
• Experience working alongside schools and other children’s therapists is valued.
• Fluent English.
• Able to start within six weeks of an offer.
• Live-in and single-status: you relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice.

Package

• £65,000–£100,000 per annum gross, depending on experience.
• The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.
• Accommodation within the residence, entirely free of charge.
• A permanent appointment with annual leave; the contract is renewed each year between the family and the clinician.
• The family arranges and pays for the visas needed for travel abroad.

Scope of Engagement

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
