Medical Staff Talent
Private Medical Recruitment for the Gulf | UK & European Trained Specialists
Medical Staff Talent is appointing a UK & European-trained Renal Nurse to a private family in Jeddah, delivering home haemodialysis and renal continuity care for a Principal from a purpose-equipped suite within the residence.
The appointment sits within the household’s medical team, working to the visiting nephrologist and alongside the personal physician, with the nurse owning every session from set-up to documentation.
The Mandate
- Delivery and supervision of home haemodialysis sessions: machine set-up and water quality governance, vascular access care and intradialytic monitoring within a purpose-equipped suite.
- Renal continuity care between sessions — fluid, electrolyte and anaemia management, dietary coordination and medication governance.
- Coordination with the visiting nephrologist and the household’s medical team, including dialysis planning when the Principal travels.
- Absolute discretion under NDA.
Candidate Requirements
- Registered Nurse qualification from a Tier-1 UK or European institution, with current registration (NMC, NMBI or an equivalent European regulator).
- Minimum five years’ experience, including substantive haemodialysis or renal unit practice and formal home haemodialysis training.
- Demonstrated discretion in confidential household environments.
- Fluent English.
- Availability to start within six weeks of offer.
- Complete flexibility around the family’s calendar.
- The ability to relocate alone and to travel with the family worldwide, often at short notice.
- Nurses are always placed in pairs — two nurses alternating shifts — to protect continuity of care.
Package
- From €5,000 a month, depending on the appointment
- Private accommodation within the residence and relocation arranged by the family
- Annual leave with flights home and long-term contract stability
Scope of Our Role
Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
What this appointment asks of you
Home haemodialysis for a single Principal is renal nursing at its most exacting: the suite is purpose-equipped, the sessions are frequent, and there is no unit around the nurse when something drifts. The nurse sets up and runs every session, keeps water quality and access care to unit standard, monitors the Principal throughout, and manages the fluid, electrolyte, anaemia and dietary picture between sessions in close contact with the visiting nephrologist. When the Principal travels, the nurse plans and often accompanies the dialysis arrangements abroad. Five years including substantive haemodialysis practice and formal home haemodialysis training is the threshold; the Jeddah household will select for technical precision, composure and discretion.
How the package is structured
The package starts from €5,000 a month, depending on the appointment. It is base remuneration, and it is paid tax-free: Saudi Arabia levies no personal income tax on employment earnings, so the number on the offer is the number that arrives.
Accommodation and flights are provided in addition to base, which is what makes the net position so different from a UK or European salary: with housing and travel carried by the household, most of the base figure is savings capacity. Health insurance in Gulf contracts explains the cover clauses worth reading twice.
End-of-service gratuity accrues under local labour law for each completed year and is paid when the contract ends; our note on end-of-service gratuity and repatriation explains how it is calculated and what to check in the contract.
If you are leaving the UK part-way through a tax year, split-year treatment under the Statutory Residence Test usually applies; keep a day-count from the date you leave and take advice from an independent cross-border adviser; tax-free wealth preservation for Gulf clinicians sets out the planning points.
Run your own comparison with the UK versus GCC net position calculator or the Gulf net package estimator; we are happy to walk through the result with you before any interview.
Living in Jeddah
Life in Jeddah is lived along the water: the Corniche, the marinas, the Red Sea reefs, and a restaurant scene that reflects the city’s history as the pilgrimage port and trading hub of the Hijaz. It is a softer introduction to the Kingdom than the capital, and household appointments here typically include accommodation within the residence, provided by the family.
Direct flights to London run daily and take around seven hours; Riyadh is an hour away. Every appointment is single-status — the families we work with require clinicians who relocate alone — and the cultural adjustment guide covers the adjustments that make the first six months easier.
How the search is run
We run this search as a full-cycle search under a retained, confidential mandate. The first conversation is with Vanessa, our Executive Search Lead, and it is a briefing rather than a screening: what the appointment involves day to day, what the household selects for, and whether it fits the life you want. Your CV goes nowhere until you say so.
If you proceed, your credentials are verified, the household is briefed on an anonymised profile, and interviews run by video before an in-person meeting arranged by the family. Offer, NDA and contract are agreed directly between you and the family. The time-to-hire estimator gives realistic timings for a nurse appointment; confidential hiring process and confidentiality, NDA and vetting explain the household’s side of the process.
