Private duty, paediatric and specialist home-care nursing appointments in Jeddah for UK & European-trained nurses, engaged by private families on the Red Sea coast.
Jeddah nursing is built around one family, not one ward
The city’s private families and their estates along the coast staff named-family continuity nursing rather than shift rotas. The appointments are fewer than in Riyadh and more specialised: children’s care, newborn care, and clinical care at home that would otherwise mean a hospital visit several times a week.
Where the Jeddah demand sits
Paediatric and family continuity care. Day-to-day clinical care for the household’s children, close coordination with visiting consultants, and the calm continuity that a rota cannot provide.
Specialist care at home. Renal and home haemodialysis nursing is the clearest example: a principal who would otherwise travel for treatment receives it in the residence, from nurses the family knows.
Newborn care. Neonatal nursing within the household, commonly alongside a Private Maternity Nurse. See Neonatal and Paediatric Private Duty Nursing for Private Families.
A nursing post that gives you a named family, and the time and authority the work actually requires, is not a hospital post as most candidates have known it.
How a Jeddah nursing appointment is structured
Household nurses are introduced in pairs, never alone, and work alongside the household’s physician or visiting consultant team rather than in isolation. Live-In appointments on the estate and Rotational rotas are the most common models, with Travelling appointments when the family moves between Jeddah, Riyadh and the Mediterranean on the family’s yachts. All five models are set out in Live-In, Rota or Travelling?
The contract is signed directly between you and the household. We introduce and verify; we are not the employer, and the introduction fee is paid by the family. Everything is governed by NDA from first contact — see Confidentiality, NDAs and Vetting.
Local arrangements
Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and you, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers. We do not process licences, DataFlow or visas.

Questions nurses ask about Jeddah
Do I need dialysis experience for the home-care appointments?
For renal and home haemodialysis appointments, yes: current, hands-on renal experience. Paediatric and neonatal appointments ask for experience in those fields instead. Each listing states its requirements.
Will I work alone?
No. Household nurses are introduced in pairs and work alongside the household’s physician or visiting consultants.
Who employs me?
The household. You sign directly with them. We introduce and verify, and the family pays our fee.
What every family asks of you
- Availability to start within six weeks of offer.
- Complete flexibility around the family’s calendar.
- The ability to relocate alone and to travel with the family, often at short notice: every role is live-in and single-status.
