Medical Staff Talent

Private Medical Recruitment for the Gulf | UK & European Trained Specialists

Medical Staff Talent keeps a continuously open register of UK & European-trained nurses for private duty, paediatric, neonatal and renal nursing appointments with private families in Jeddah. It is a standing pipeline rather than a single advertised vacancy: when a household on the Red Sea coast confirms a mandate, the nurses on this register whose specialism fits are contacted directly and confidentially.

Who We Place You With

  • Private Families — family estates on the northern coast with in-residence clinical suites
  • Family Offices — Jeddah’s merchant families, whose residences increasingly include a nursing post

The Jeddah Market for Private Nurses

Jeddah’s nursing mandates show how specialised live-in nursing has become: a Renal Nurse delivering home haemodialysis for a Principal from a purpose-equipped suite inside the residence; a Private Duty Nurse providing paediatric and family continuity care; a Neonatal Nurse managing a named infant within a dedicated family care unit. Three mandates currently open, each built around one patient rather than a caseload, each coordinating closely with visiting consultants. Jeddah households are established, traditional and loyal; the nurse becomes part of the household’s fabric. Our guide to neonatal and paediatric private duty nursing for private families describes the standard, and our note on the senior private duty nurse as single-patient case manager the responsibility.

Current Nursing Mandates in Jeddah

The nursing appointments below are live on our desk today; the register exists for the ones that are filled before they are ever written up.

Credential Standard

Every nurse on this register holds a UK (NMC), Irish (NMBI) or EU-recognised nursing registration in good standing, a BSc or equivalent, and a minimum of three years’ post-registration practice — with most private family appointments calling for five or more, in intensive care, paediatrics, neonatal, maternity or complex medical nursing. Credentials are verified at source before a profile is ever shown to a client, and keeping your home registration alive keeps the door back open — here is how. Full detail is on our Candidates page.

Scope of Our Role

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.

Typical Package

  • From €5,000 a month, depending on the appointment
  • Medical insurance is covered; professional indemnity insurance is not included. Flights and travel are always paid for by the family.
  • Private quarters within the residence, provided free of charge, and annual leave with flights
  • Single-patient continuity with visiting consultants coordinating through you
  • Strict confidentiality, under NDA, throughout. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances

Living in Jeddah

Jeddah is the Kingdom’s Red Sea gateway — coastal, mercantile and noticeably more relaxed in tempo than the capital. Private family residences line the northern coast from the Corniche through Obhur, where much of the city’s private medical activity is concentrated, and every appointment is live-in and single-status, with accommodation provided within the residence. King Abdulaziz International Airport’s new terminal connects directly to London and the European hubs; the historic Al-Balad district, the Jeddah Yacht Club and the Red Sea diving coast shape weekends. The climate is humid and the households are long-established.

How This Register Works

Jeddah’s households prefer a nurse who has been introduced to one who has applied. Registering is that introduction, made before the mandate exists — you are not applying to one advertised role.

What every family asks of you

  • Availability to start within six weeks of offer.
  • Complete flexibility around the family’s calendar.
  • The ability to relocate alone and to travel with the family worldwide, often at short notice.
  • Nurses are always placed in pairs — two nurses alternating shifts — to protect continuity of care.

Life with a private family in Jeddah

Families based in Jeddah live on the Red Sea coast, where the climate is warm and humid for much of the year and time on the water is part of family life. Expect sessions in a residence or beach house, careful planning of activity and hydration, and regular travel to Riyadh, Europe and further afield. English is the everyday working language of the household team.

Every household is different; the details above describe the setting in general terms.
