Medical Staff Talent
Private Medical Recruitment for the Gulf | UK & European Trained Specialists
Medical Staff Talent is appointing a UK & European-trained Women’s Health Physiotherapist to a private family in Dubai, providing post-natal recovery and pelvic health rehabilitation for a member of the family from a private treatment suite within the residence.
The appointment runs from late pregnancy through the post-natal year, in coordination with the family’s obstetrician, maternity nurse and fitness staff.

- Antenatal musculoskeletal care and preparation in the final trimester, delivered one-to-one from a private treatment suite.
- Coordination with the family’s obstetrician, maternity nurse and fitness staff, with progress reported discreetly to the family.
- Absolute discretion under NDA.
Candidate Requirements
- Physiotherapy qualification from a Tier-1 UK or European institution, with current registration (HCPC, CORU or an equivalent European regulator).
- Minimum five years’ experience, including substantive women’s health and pelvic health practice with postgraduate pelvic health training (POGP or an equivalent European pathway).
- Demonstrated discretion in confidential household environments.
- Fluent English.
- Availability to start within six weeks of offer.
- Complete flexibility around the family’s calendar.
- The ability to relocate alone and to travel with the family worldwide, often at short notice.
Package
- £75,000 – £100,000 tax-free
- Private accommodation within the residence and relocation arranged by the family
- Annual leave with flights home and long-term contract stability
Scope of Our Role
Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
What this appointment asks of you
Post-natal rehabilitation for one member of a private family, delivered in her own residence by a specialist rather than fitted around a clinic list. The physiotherapist begins in the final trimester with musculoskeletal care and preparation, then leads the post-natal year: pelvic floor rehabilitation, abdominal wall and diastasis recti recovery, and a staged return to exercise coordinated with the family’s fitness staff. She works alongside the maternity nurse and the obstetrician and reports progress to the family with tact. Five years including substantive women’s health practice and postgraduate pelvic health training is the threshold; Dubai’s private families select for expertise, warmth and unfailing discretion.
Reading the package
Base remuneration for this appointment is £75,000 – £100,000 per annum, paid without deduction: there is no personal income tax on employment earnings in the United Arab Emirates, which is why a Gulf figure should never be compared line-for-line with a gross UK or European salary.
Because accommodation and flights sit outside the base figure, the practical comparison is with your current net pay after rent, commuting and tax — not with your gross salary. Our note on reading the real numbers behind a tax-free salary walks through that arithmetic.
An end-of-service gratuity accrues for every completed year of service and is settled on departure — see end-of-service gratuity and repatriation for the calculation and the contract clauses that govern it.
Your home-country tax position on departure — split-year treatment for UK residents, exit formalities elsewhere in Europe — is worth settling with an independent cross-border adviser before the first salary lands, and cost of living and net position for Gulf clinicians gives the household-level numbers.
Run your own comparison with the UK versus GCC net position calculator or the Gulf net package estimator; we are happy to walk through the result with you before any interview.
Living in Dubai
Dubai needs little introduction: a global hub with direct flights to almost everywhere, a residential market that runs from Jumeirah and the Palm to the villa communities of Dubai Hills and Arabian Ranches, and a service culture built around people who arrive from abroad. Household appointments normally include accommodation provided by the family — private quarters within the residence — so the practical question is how you will spend your time off.
Winters are the reason people stay; summers are hot and lived indoors or on the water early in the day. London is around seven hours by direct flight. Every appointment is single-status — the families we work with require clinicians who relocate alone — and the cultural adjustment guide covers the adjustments worth anticipating.
How the search is run
We run this search as a full-cycle search under a retained, confidential mandate. The first conversation is with Vanessa, our Executive Search Lead, and it is a briefing rather than a screening: what the appointment involves day to day, what the household selects for, and whether it fits the life you want. Your CV goes nowhere until you say so.
If you proceed, your credentials are verified, the household is briefed on an anonymised profile, and interviews run by video before an in-person meeting arranged by the family. Offer, NDA and contract are agreed directly between you and the family. The time-to-hire estimator gives realistic timings for a physiotherapist appointment; confidential hiring process and confidentiality, NDA and vetting explain the household’s side of the process.
