What this appointment asks of you

The clinical brief is manual therapy of a very high standard delivered to a small number of people over a long period. Sessions are unhurried and one-to-one, which means the quality of your assessment, your hands and your programme design is visible in a way it rarely is in a busy department. Expect to work across musculoskeletal maintenance, post-travel recovery, longevity-oriented conditioning and the occasional acute presentation, and to coordinate with visiting consultants when a case needs imaging or a surgical opinion. The household will look for a practitioner who can explain a plan simply, adapt it around the family’s calendar without compromising it, and remain entirely unobtrusive when not treating.

Licensing sequence: DHA, Dubai

Dubai licenses clinicians through the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) on its Sheryan platform. For a residential appointment the sequence is:

  • DataFlow primary source verification of your physiotherapy degree, current registration (HCPC, CORU or your European regulator), certificate of good standing and experience letters on institutional letterhead — typically four to eight weeks with a complete dossier.
  • DHA eligibility assessment: HCPC, CORU and equivalent European registrations are generally accepted at Tier-1, and we confirm the assessment position before you commit.
  • Issue of the eligibility letter, then licence activation under the licensed private medical entity associated with the household, followed by the residence visa and Emirates ID.
  • Household onboarding: NDA execution, accommodation, banking and the practical steps we coordinate with the family office before your first day.

How the package is structured

The figure quoted above — £52,000 – £62,000 per annum — is base remuneration, and it is paid tax-free: the UAE levies no personal income tax on employment earnings, so the number on the offer is the number that arrives.

Accommodation, flights and medical cover are provided in addition to base, which is what makes the net position so different from a UK or European salary: with housing and travel carried by the household, most of the base figure is savings capacity.
