Private Medical Recruitment for the Gulf | UK & European Trained Specialists

Medical Staff Talent is building a confidential shortlist of early-career, UK & European-trained Physiotherapists for permanent one-on-one placements within private family residences across the GCC (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Doha). This is a genuine entry point into private practice — no caseload, no throughput target, no shared diary.

The Mandate

Deliver one-on-one manual therapy and musculoskeletal rehabilitation from a dedicated, private treatment suite inside the household. Programme design and pacing are set by clinical judgement, not hospital protocol, with senior clinical mentorship available within the Medical Staff Talent network as you build your caseload.

Requirements

  • UK & European-trained Physiotherapist, 1+ years’ post-qualification clinical experience
  • Current registration with your UK or European regulator, in good standing
  • Fluent English essential
  • Strict NDA compliance mandatory
  • Availability to start within six weeks of offer.
  • Complete flexibility around the family’s calendar.
  • The ability to relocate alone and to travel with the family worldwide, often at short notice.

Package

  • £60,000 – £70,000 per annum, gross

Scope of Our Role

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.

What this appointment asks of you

This shortlist exists because the households we serve increasingly ask for physiotherapists at the start of their careers who can grow into a long private appointment. The clinical work is one-to-one manual therapy and musculoskeletal rehabilitation from a private treatment suite, with programme design set by your own judgement and senior mentorship available through our network as you build experience. What we look for is sound fundamentals, an appetite for reflective practice, and the temperament to work inside a family home — punctual, discreet, composed. Placements may land in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh or Doha, and we match location to candidate rather than the other way round. If you have one to three years of solid practice and want to skip the throughput years, this is the route.

Reading the package

The figure quoted above — £60,000 – £70,000 per annum — is base remuneration; accommodation and flights are provided in addition. It is a gross salary, agreed directly with the family and paid into the bank account of your choice. Take advice from your own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in your circumstances.

Where you will live

Where you live depends on where the shortlist places you, and each of the four cities has a distinct character: Dubai for reach and pace, Abu Dhabi for calm and culture, Riyadh for scale and a fast-changing capital, Doha for compactness and order. In every case the household provides accommodation, so relocation is about choosing the life you want on your days off rather than finding a home.

Every appointment is single-status, with accommodation provided within the residence wherever you land.

How we run this search

Every appointment of this kind follows the same discipline. It begins with a confidential briefing call with Vanessa, our Executive Search Lead, covering your clinical profile, your motivations and your readiness to relocate alone; nothing is written down that you have not agreed to share. Your qualifications, registration and references are then verified before anyone else is involved.

The household or its family office is briefed anonymously. Your name and documents are shared only with your written authorisation, first-stage interviews are held by video, and a final meeting is arranged in person — usually with travel organised by the household.
