Medical Staff Talent is appointing a UK & European-trained Private Duty Nurse to a private family in Saudi Arabia for confidential, permanent live-in care.

The role sits within a high-security family environment and demands absolute discretion. Only clinicians of the highest calibre and professional composure are considered.

Candidate Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with current registration with your UK or European regulator, in good standing.
  • Minimum five years private duty or residential care experience.
  • Trained in a Tier-1 UK or European system — UK, Ireland, or an accepted European jurisdiction — with current registration with your UK or European regulator, in good standing.
  • Fluent English essential; strict NDA compliance mandatory.
  • Availability to start within six weeks of offer.
  • Complete flexibility around the family’s calendar.
  • The ability to relocate alone and to travel with the family worldwide, often at short notice.
  • Nurses are always placed in pairs — two nurses alternating shifts — to protect continuity of care.

What this appointment asks of you

The appointment is live-in nursing inside a high-security private family residence, and its character is defined by two things: permanence and discretion. You will provide continuous nursing for named members of the family — routine health management, medication governance, wound and post-procedural care when needed, escalation to the household physician — and you will do it as a fixture of the household rather than a visiting professional. The environment is calm, well-resourced and closely protected; protocol matters, punctuality matters, and the ability to be clinically authoritative without ever being conspicuous matters most of all. Nurses with private duty or residential experience will find the pace measured and the standards exacting.

Scope of Our Role

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.

How the package is structured

The package starts from €5,000 a month, depending on the appointment. It is base remuneration, and it is paid tax-free: Saudi Arabia levies no personal income tax on employment earnings, so the number on the offer is the number that arrives.

Accommodation and flights are provided in addition to base, which is what makes the net position so different from a UK or European salary: with housing and travel carried by the household, most of the base figure is savings capacity. Living in Riyadh

Riyadh is the Kingdom’s capital and its administrative centre, and the city has changed at a pace that surprises clinicians who last visited a decade ago: new districts, a metro, an events calendar that runs through the winter, and a residential market that ranges from the Diplomatic Quarter to the established international compounds in the north of the city. Household appointments normally come with accommodation within the residence, provided by the family, so your decision is about days off rather than house-hunting.

How the search is run

We run this search as a full-cycle search under a retained, confidential mandate. The first conversation is with Vanessa, our Executive Search Lead, and it is a briefing rather than a screening: what the appointment involves day to day, what the household selects for, and whether it fits the life you want. Your CV goes nowhere until you say so.

If you proceed, your credentials are verified, the household is briefed on an anonymised profile, and interviews run by video before an in-person meeting arranged by the family.
