UK and European trained private and maternity nurse caring for a newborn in a Gulf private family residence

Private & Maternity Nurse Jobs in Riyadh and Saudi Arabia

Private duty and maternity nursing appointments in Riyadh and across the Kingdom for UK & European-trained nurses, retained by private families. Continuity care for a single principal or family, appointed in pairs, under strict NDA.

Riyadh nursing is two markets, and they behave nothing alike

A UK & European-trained nurse considering the Saudi capital is looking at two entirely separate propositions that happen to share a regulator.

Hospital nursing — high-acuity, rota-driven work within the Kingdom’s large hospital groups, recruited at volume through institutional channels. It is a legitimate career route, and it is not the market we serve.

Private duty nursing for private families — continuity care inside a private residence or family estate, for a single principal or family. Small caseload, absolute discretion, and a professional register closer to household service than to ward work. Our practice is confined to this second market.

What private family nursing actually asks of you

It is worth being direct, because this is where most mismatches happen.

Proximity is continuous. You often live within or beside the household. Professional composure is not something you hold for a shift; it is a permanent condition of the role.

The caseload is one family. Nurses used to the variety and collegiality of a ward frequently find this harder than they expected. The ones who thrive wanted depth of relationship rather than breadth of case.

Confidentiality is absolute and permanent. Governed by NDA from first contact, and it does not lapse when the appointment does. We never name a household — before, during or after a mandate. See Confidentiality, NDAs and Vetting.

These appointments are not filled from job boards. They are filled from a small register of nurses whose composure has already been assessed. That is what we maintain.

How a Riyadh nursing appointment is structured

Household nurses are introduced in pairs, never alone. Riyadh is where we see Live-In or Residential appointments and Rotational residence rotas most often, with Fixed-Term contracts for maternity and Travelling appointments when the family moves between residences or abroad. Larger households also appoint a Head Nurse to lead the nursing team. All seven models are set out in Live-In, Rota or Travelling?

The contract is signed directly between you and the household. We introduce and verify; we are not the employer, and the introduction fee is paid by the family.

Licensing: the route we map with you

Nursing in the Kingdom is licensed through the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS), via Mumaris Plus, after DataFlow primary source verification. NMC, NMBI or equivalent European registration is the starting point, and your SCFHS classification sets your title. SCFHS and Mumaris Plus sets out the detail, and the GCC Licensing Classifier gives you a first view.

We map this route with you and guide you through it; we do not submit applications, process DataFlow or sponsor visas. Maternity nurses should also read what the title buys, and what the licence permits.

Current nursing mandates in Riyadh and the Kingdom

Each listing states its own remuneration, tax-free. Mandates of this kind open and close without public advertisement; our ongoing register for nurses in Riyadh is the standing brief we place against throughout the year.

Living in Riyadh

Nursing packages in the Kingdom commonly absorb accommodation, transport, medical cover and repatriation, which changes the comparison with a UK band substantially. Questions nurses ask about Riyadh

Do you recruit for Saudi hospitals?

No. Our practice is confined to private duty nursing for private families. Hospital nursing is a legitimate route, but it is recruited through institutional channels.

Will I live in the household?

Often. Many Riyadh appointments are Live-In or run as Rotational rotas; some are Live-Out nearby. Each mandate states its model before you are introduced, and household nurses are always appointed in pairs.

Which regulator licenses nurses in Saudi Arabia?

The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, through Mumaris Plus, after DataFlow primary source verification. The route is the same in Riyadh, Jeddah and the Eastern Province.

Who employs me?

The household, or its licensed entity. You sign directly with them. We introduce and verify, and the family pays our fee.
