European osteopath delivering manual therapy in a private treatment room

Private Osteopaths | Structural, Postural & Longevity Specialists for Private Families

Osteopathy Inside the Residence

Structural, Postural & Longevity Specialists — exclusively for Private Families across Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar — and with the family across Europe and on international travel. Every appointment asks three things of the clinician: availability to start within six weeks, complete flexibility, and the ability to relocate alone and travel with the family at short notice.

Medical Staff Talent introduces UK and European-trained osteopaths to private families who want manual, structural care delivered inside the residence rather than booked through a clinic. The osteopath is appointed for one principal or one household, works in a private treatment room, and sits beside the family’s physiotherapist and physician as part of a small, continuous clinical team. Every osteopath is matched for clinical autonomy, manual precision and the discretion a private appointment requires.

The Mandate: Structural & Postural Care Inside the Residence

A household osteopath is commissioned for continuity, not for a course of six sessions. The typical brief covers:

  • Chronic spinal and joint care — long-standing back, neck and joint presentations in a principal who has already seen the specialists and now wants consistent, skilled hands.
  • Postural and biomechanical work — for principals who sit, fly and travel for long hours, and for elders of the family whose mobility is the household’s priority.
  • Longevity and performance support — structural work alongside a physiotherapist and physician in a household running a longevity or performance programme.
  • Peri-natal and paediatric care — cranial and gentle structural techniques within a maternity or newborn household, delivered in coordination with the maternity nurse pair.
  • Travel and yacht seasons — the osteopath moves with the family between residences, across Europe and on the Mediterranean yacht season, carrying the treatment programme with them.

Why osteopathy sits beside physiotherapy in these households — and when a family commissions one, the other, or both — is set out in Osteopathy for Private Families.

Who We Serve

Private families and their family offices across Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar. We accept no institutional mandates: no hospitals, no clinics, no wellness groups. Where a family also attends a clinic privately, the osteopath coordinates with it; the appointment itself is to the household.

Standards We Require

  • UK or European training in osteopathy, with an active, verified registration in the country of qualification — GOsC in the United Kingdom, or the equivalent statutory or recognised register in a European country.
  • Qualifications, registration and employment history verifiable at source.
  • Demonstrated one-to-one or private-practice experience — structural skill, cranial and visceral competence where relevant, and a bedside manner matched to a household setting rather than a clinic list.
  • Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Willingness to sign a non-disclosure agreement and operate under strict confidential routing — standard on every household mandate.

Compensation and Package Structure

Household osteopathy is paid at a premium to private-practice earnings in the UK and Europe because the osteopath lives in and is appointed for one principal, not a diary. Across our current mandates, packages typically run from £60,000 to £120,000 gross, with routine-care appointments from around £60,000 and longevity-linked or travelling appointments at the top of the band. A private treatment room, furnished accommodation within the residence and annual flights are normally provided in addition to salary, and the rota, travel expectations and on-call structure are agreed in writing before an offer is made. These are indicative ranges drawn from current mandates and vary by market and brief. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.

The UK vs GCC Gross Package Calculator shows what a gross package actually leaves you with once in-kind benefits are accounted for, and our 2026 rehabilitation salary benchmarks set out the wider manual-therapy bands by market.

Representative Mandates

Most osteopathy mandates are never advertised. If your registration and experience match the standards above, the fastest route is to send us your CV and be held on the confidential register for the next household brief.

Deployment Models and Local Arrangements

The private families we work with require clinicians who relocate alone: every role is live-in and single-status, on one of five models — Live-In, Rotational, Fixed-Term, Travelling or Locum. At present, every appointment we introduce is permanent: Fixed-Term and Locum arrangements are not currently available. The models are explained in Live-In, Rota or Travelling?

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.

Coverage

Saudi Arabia | UAE | Qatar — and with the family across Europe and on international travel, including the Mediterranean yacht season.

How the Process Works

  • Confidential brief taken directly with the principal, family office or household representative — under NDA before any candidate detail is shared.
  • Individual, targeted approach to vetted osteopaths already known to the practice; mandates are never advertised publicly.
  • Verification of registration, credentials and references before any introduction is made.
  • Live-in and single-status confirmed with the candidate before introduction; local arrangements remain with the family’s own office.

For Households Commissioning Osteopathy

Frequently Asked Questions

Do private families in the Gulf appoint osteopaths, or only physiotherapists?

Both, and increasingly together. Physiotherapy carries the rehabilitation programme; osteopathy carries the structural and postural work a principal wants on a continuing basis. Households running a longevity programme, or caring for an elder of the family, are the most frequent commissioners of a dedicated osteopath.

How does a household osteopathy role differ from private practice at home?

You treat one principal, or one family, in a private treatment room inside the residence, with the continuity a diary never allows. Outcomes are measured on the individual, not on throughput, and the appointment is built around the principal’s schedule, travel and residences rather than a clinic’s opening hours.

How much do private osteopaths earn in the Gulf?

Across current mandates, £60,000 to £120,000 gross, with a private treatment room, accommodation within the residence and annual flights normally provided in addition. Routine-care appointments start from around £60,000; longevity-linked and travelling appointments sit at the top of the band. The figures are indicative and vary by market and brief.

Will my GOsC or European registration be recognised?

Your UK or European registration is what we verify before any introduction, and it is the credential the household is appointing. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and you, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.

Are these permanent appointments?

Most are open-ended Live-In appointments. Rotational, Fixed-Term, Travelling and Locum models also exist, and every one of them is live-in and single-status: the osteopath relocates alone and travels with the family at short notice. The model is agreed in writing before an offer is made.
