ICU Critical Care Nurse Pair — Home Care for a Private Family, Riyadh

  • Permanent · Live-In · Travelling with the Family
  • Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
  • 5000 GBP / Month

Medical Staff Talent

A private family in Riyadh has asked Medical Staff Talent to introduce a pair of UK & European-trained ICU Critical Care Nurses. A family member is coming home after a long intensive care stay and needs critical-care-level nursing for the foreseeable future.

The family always employs two nurses so that care never depends on one person. The two nurses alternate 12-hour day and night shifts, with a handover at each change. Six-day weeks and 24/7 availability are normal in Gulf household appointments, and the family plans around both.

The Mandate

  • Critical care at home: tracheostomy, ventilation support and monitoring.
  • Medication management to the intensivist’s plan.
  • Early warning and escalation, with clear handovers between the two nurses.
  • Supporting relatives at the bedside.
  • Complete confidentiality, under a strict non-disclosure agreement.

Requirements

  • Registered nurse trained in the UK or Europe, with adult intensive care experience, including ventilated patients.
  • At least 7 years of post-registration experience.
  • Comfortable working as one of two nurses alternating 8- or 12-hour shifts, with careful handovers.
  • A critical care post-registration course is valued.
  • Fluent English and a calm, courteous manner.
  • Able to start within six weeks of an offer.
  • Willingness to relocate alone to a live-in, single-status appointment, and to travel worldwide with the family at short notice.
  • Arabic language skills are a strong advantage.

Package

  • From €5,000 a month.
  • The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.
  • Private accommodation in the residence, provided free.
  • Permanent role with annual leave, under a contract renewed yearly with the family.
  • The family arranges and pays for the visas needed for travel abroad.

Scope of Engagement

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.

Confidential Application

The family’s identity is shared only once there is mutual interest. Our Nurses page explains how we appoint nurses; to be considered, send your CV through Send Us Your CV.
