NICU-Experienced Newborn Nurse Pair — Private Family, Al Khobar

Medical Staff Talent is introducing two UK & European-trained NICU-experienced Newborn Nurses to a private family in Al Khobar, in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. A baby born prematurely is coming home, and the family wants two nurses with neonatal intensive care experience from the day the baby comes home, continuing with the family as the child grows.

The family always employs two nurses so that care never depends on one person. The two nurses alternate 12-hour day and night shifts, with a handover at each change. As is usual for household appointments in the Gulf, the family expects availability around the clock and a six-day working week.

The Mandate

• Care for a premature baby at home: feeding, weight, temperature and observations.
• Managing prescribed equipment and medication.
• Working with the neonatologist and paediatrician on follow-up appointments.
• Teaching the parents and supporting them through the early weeks.
• Absolute discretion under a strict NDA.

Requirements

• Registered nurse trained in the UK or Europe, with neonatal intensive care (NICU) experience.
• At least 5 years of post-registration experience.
• Comfortable working as one of two nurses alternating 8- or 12-hour shifts, with careful handovers.
• Experience with neonatal home oxygen is valued.
• Fluent English.
• Availability to begin within six weeks of offer.
• Live-in and single-status: you relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice.

Package

• From €5,000 a month.
• Medical insurance is covered; professional indemnity insurance is not included.
• Flights and travel are always paid for by the family.
• The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.
• Accommodation within the residence, entirely free of charge.
• A permanent appointment with annual leave; the contract is renewed each year between the family and the clinician.

Scope of Engagement

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
