Travelling Family Physician — Longevity & Preventive Medicine, Dammam

Medical Staff Talent is searching for a UK & European-trained Travelling Family Physician with a longevity focus for a private family based in Dammam, in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. The family wants preventive medicine taken seriously and has asked for a GP who will keep it grounded in evidence rather than fashion.

Travel with the family is frequent — European summers, the family yacht and trips arranged at short notice.

The Mandate

• Day-to-day family medicine for the household, combined with a measured longevity programme for the adults.
• Annual and quarterly reviews of cardiometabolic markers, sleep, fitness and body composition.
• Liaison with the family’s trainer and nutritionist so the plan is consistent at home and on the road.
• Medical support during travel, including remote follow-up when family members are in different countries.
• Complete confidentiality, under a strict non-disclosure agreement.

Requirements

• CCT in General Practice or a European family medicine equivalent, with postgraduate interest in lifestyle, metabolic or preventive medicine.
• At least 9 years of independent practice in UK or European general practice or family medicine.
• Full registration, in good standing, with a UK or European medical regulator.
• A postgraduate qualification in lifestyle or sports and exercise medicine is valued.
• Fluent English.
• Able to start within six weeks of an offer.
• Willingness to relocate alone to a live-in, single-status appointment, and to travel worldwide with the family at short notice.
• Arabic language skills are a strong advantage.

Package

• £218,000 per annum gross, with free accommodation, flights and travel paid, and medical insurance covered (professional indemnity insurance is not included).
• The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.
• Private accommodation in the residence, provided free.
• Permanent role with annual leave, under a contract renewed yearly with the family.

Scope of Engagement

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
