Travelling Nurse Pair — Private Jet & Yacht Travel with a Private Family, Al Khobar

Medical Staff Talent is searching for two UK & European-trained Travelling Nurses for a private family based in Al Khobar, in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. The family travels often by private jet and spends part of the summer on a yacht in Europe, and wants two nurses who are comfortable working on the move.

The family always employs two nurses so that care never depends on one person. The two permanent nurses alternate daily 12-hour shifts, so that one of them is always on duty.

The Mandate

• Nursing care for family members during travel by air and sea.
• Medical kits, medication and documentation prepared before each trip.
• First response to illness or injury while travelling.
• Supporting the family’s health routines at home between journeys.
• Strict observance of household protocol and the family’s NDA.

Requirements

• Registered nurse trained in the UK or Europe, with acute or emergency experience and confidence working alone while travelling.
• At least 6 years of post-registration experience.
• Comfortable working as one of two nurses alternating 8- or 12-hour shifts, with careful handovers.
• Experience nursing at sea or in remote settings is valued.
• Fluent English and proven discretion in private settings.
• Able to start within six weeks of an offer.
• Able to relocate alone (live-in, single-status) and to travel anywhere in the world with the family, often at short notice.

Package

• From €5,000 a month.
• Medical insurance is covered; professional indemnity insurance is not included.
• Flights and travel are always paid for by the family.
• The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.
• Fully free accommodation within the family’s residence.
• Permanent, with annual leave and a contract that is renewed every year.

Scope of Engagement

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
