Travelling Nurse Pair — Private Jet & Yacht Travel with a Private Family, Doha

A private family in Doha has asked Medical Staff Talent to introduce a pair of UK & European-trained Travelling Nurses. The family travels widely by private jet and spends summers on its yacht, and wants two nurses to accompany them.

The family always employs two nurses so that care never depends on one person. The two nurses alternate 12-hour day and night shifts, with a handover at each change. Availability 24/7 and a six-day week are part of the appointment, as is usual with private families in the Gulf.

The Mandate

• Nursing care during flights, on board and at destinations.
• Preparing medication and supplies for each trip.
• First response to illness or injury while travelling.
• Health routines for the family at home in Doha between trips.
• Complete confidentiality, under a strict non-disclosure agreement.

Requirements

• Registered nurse trained in the UK or Europe, with acute or emergency experience and confidence working alone while travelling.
• At least 6 years of post-registration experience.
• Comfortable working as one of two nurses alternating 8- or 12-hour shifts, with careful handovers.
• ALS or equivalent resuscitation certification is valued.
• Fluent English and a calm, courteous manner.
• Able to start within six weeks of an offer.
• Willingness to relocate alone to a live-in, single-status appointment, and to travel worldwide with the family at short notice.
• Arabic language skills are a strong advantage.

Package

• From €5,000 a month.
• The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.
• Private accommodation in the residence, provided free.
• Permanent role with annual leave, under a contract renewed yearly with the family.
• The family arranges and pays for the visas needed for travel abroad.

Scope of Engagement

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
