NICU-Experienced Newborn Nurse Pair — Private Family, Abu Dhabi

Medical Staff Talent is searching for two UK & European-trained NICU-experienced Newborn Nurses for a private family based in Abu Dhabi. Twins born early are coming home after a neonatal unit stay, and the family wants two nurses with NICU experience to care for them at home.

The family always employs two nurses so that care never depends on one person. The two permanent nurses alternate daily 12-hour shifts, so that one of them is always on duty. Six-day weeks and 24/7 availability are normal in Gulf household appointments, and the family plans around both.

The Mandate

• Care for two premature infants after discharge: feeding plans, weight monitoring and observations.
• Managing home equipment such as apnoea monitors or oxygen if prescribed.
• Working with the neonatologist and paediatrician on follow-up.
• Supporting the parents’ confidence as the babies grow.
• Strict observance of household protocol and the family’s NDA.

Requirements

• Registered nurse trained in the UK or Europe, with neonatal intensive care (NICU) experience.
• At least 5 years of post-registration experience.
• Comfortable working as one of two nurses alternating 8- or 12-hour shifts, with careful handovers.
• Experience with neonatal home oxygen is valued.
• Fluent English and proven discretion in private settings.
• Able to start within six weeks of an offer.
• Able to relocate alone (live-in, single-status) and to travel anywhere in the world with the family, often at short notice.

Package

• From €5,000 a month.
• Medical insurance is covered; professional indemnity insurance is not included. Flights and travel are always paid for by the family.
• Flights and travel are always paid for by the family.
• The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.
• Fully free accommodation within the family’s residence.
• Permanent, with annual leave and a contract that is renewed every year.

Scope of Engagement

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
