Hydrotherapy Rehabilitation Physiotherapist — Private Family, Dubai

A private family in Dubai has asked Medical Staff Talent to introduce a UK & European-trained Physiotherapist with hydrotherapy experience. The residence has a heated therapy pool, and the family wants it used properly as part of a structured rehabilitation programme.

Expect regular travel with the family, including summers in Europe and periods on the family yacht. The rhythm follows the family rather than a rota: a six-day week, with availability at any hour when needed.

The Mandate

• Combined pool and land-based rehabilitation for family members recovering from injury or surgery.
• Setting pool protocols — temperature, supervision and hygiene — with the household team.
• Progress measures shared with the family’s physician at agreed intervals.
• Adapting the programme for travel, including hotel and yacht pools when the family is away.
• Strict observance of household protocol and the family’s NDA.

Requirements

• Physiotherapy degree from a UK or European institution, with aquatic or hydrotherapy-based rehabilitation experience alongside land-based practice.
• At least 6 years of post-qualification clinical experience.
• Full registration, in good standing, with a UK or European regulator.
• Experience with Halliwick or Bad Ragaz methods is valued.
• Fluent English and proven discretion in private settings.
• Able to start within six weeks of an offer.
• Able to relocate alone (live-in, single-status) and to travel anywhere in the world with the family, often at short notice.

Package

• From £60,000 a year gross, depending on experience.
• Medical insurance is covered; professional indemnity insurance is not included.
• Flights and travel are always paid for by the family.
• The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.
• Fully free accommodation within the family’s residence.
• Permanent, with annual leave and a contract that is renewed every year.

Scope of Engagement

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
