Travelling Family Medicine Physician — Prevention & Continuity Care, Jeddah

Medical Staff Talent is introducing a UK & European-trained Travelling Family Medicine Physician to a private family in Jeddah. The family divides its year between Jeddah and residences abroad, and wants one GP who knows every member’s history rather than a different doctor in each city.

Travel with the family between residences and abroad: summers in Europe, time on the family’s yacht and short-notice trips. Six-day weeks and 24/7 availability are normal in Gulf household appointments, and the family plans around both.

The Mandate

• First-contact family medicine for a small household panel: routine reviews, acute illness and minor procedures at the residence.
• An annual prevention calendar for each adult — screening, vaccination and cardiovascular risk review — kept current between trips.
• Medical planning for every journey: travel kits, destination risk notes and named hospitals at each stop.
• Coordination with visiting specialists so that results and recommendations come back to one record.
• Absolute discretion under a strict NDA.

Requirements

• CCT in General Practice or an equivalent European specialist qualification in family medicine, with a strong preventive-care record.
• At least 8 years of independent practice in UK or European general practice or family medicine.
• Full registration, in good standing, with a UK or European medical regulator.
• Experience of travel medicine or expedition work is valued.
• Fluent English.
• Availability to begin within six weeks of offer.
• Live-in and single-status: you relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice.

Package

• £218,000 per annum gross, with free accommodation, flights and travel paid, and medical insurance covered (professional indemnity insurance is not included).
• The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.
• Accommodation within the residence, entirely free of charge.
• A permanent appointment with annual leave; the contract is renewed each year between the family and the clinician.

Scope of Engagement

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
