Chief Medical Consultant — Private Family Residence, Abu Dhabi

Medical Staff Talent is appointing a UK & European-trained Chief Medical Consultant to a private family in Abu Dhabi. This is a Live-In appointment: the clinician leads the family’s in-house clinical set-up under strict household protocol and holds responsibility for its operational readiness within the residence.

The Mandate

• Clinical leadership of the family’s in-house clinical set-up.
• Procurement input over equipment, diagnostics and therapeutics.
• Maintenance of operational readiness under household protocol.
• Medical diplomacy as a core competency, under the strictest NDA.

Requirements

• CCST/CCT or an equivalent European fellowship in Internal or Emergency Medicine.
• Minimum five years post-specialisation as a substantive consultant within major UK or European networks.
• UK & European training.
• Command of professional boundaries, psychological resilience and cross-cultural diplomacy.
• Availability to begin within six weeks of offer.
• Live-in and single-status: you relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice.

Package

• £218,000 per annum gross, with free accommodation, flights and travel paid, and medical insurance covered (professional indemnity insurance is not included).
• The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.
• Private accommodation within the residence.
• Continuing education allowance.

Scope of Engagement

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
