PICU Paediatric Critical Care Nurse Pair — Private Family, Doha

Medical Staff Talent is searching for two UK & European-trained PICU-experienced Paediatric Nurses for a private family based in Doha. A child with long-term ventilation needs is cared for at home, and the family wants two nurses with paediatric intensive care experience.

The family always employs two nurses so that care never depends on one person. The two nurses alternate 12-hour day and night shifts, with a handover at each change. Six-day weeks and 24/7 availability are normal in Gulf household appointments, and the family plans around both.

The Mandate

• Paediatric ventilation and airway care at home.
• Monitoring, medication and escalation.
• Working with the paediatric intensivist and respiratory team.
• Supporting the child’s family life and travel.
• Strict observance of household protocol and the family’s NDA.

Requirements

• Registered nurse trained in the UK or Europe, with paediatric intensive care (PICU) experience.
• At least 6 years of post-registration experience.
• Comfortable working as one of two nurses alternating 8- or 12-hour shifts, with careful handovers.
• EPLS or APLS certification is valued.
• Fluent English and proven discretion in private settings.
• Able to start within six weeks of an offer.
• Able to relocate alone (live-in, single-status) and to travel anywhere in the world with the family, often at short notice.

Package

• From €5,000 a month.
• The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.
• Fully free accommodation within the family’s residence.
• Permanent, with annual leave and a contract that is renewed every year.
• The family arranges and pays for the visas needed for travel abroad.

Scope of Engagement

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
