Sports Physiotherapist (Manual & Movement Therapy) — Private Family, Riyadh

Medical Staff Talent is seeking a sports physiotherapist, trained in the UK or Europe, for a private family based in Riyadh. The family wants a dedicated live-in clinician who works hands-on with manual and movement therapy. The principal plays padel and tennis most evenings, and the household also includes an older relative who wants to stay mobile and steady on her feet. The brief is preventive and hands-on: keep the principal on court and keep falls away. Experience supporting elite athletes, professional teams or high-profile clients is a strong advantage.

Once in post, you travel continuously with the family across several countries, so continuity of care goes wherever the family goes.

The role

• Soft tissue release and assisted stretching, often daily.
• Active mobility work and joint mobilisation.
• Neuromuscular techniques for movement control.
• Movement analysis and biomechanical assessment, with a focus on padel and tennis players, and falls prevention for an older family member.
• Corrective exercise and injury prevention planned around the family’s season and travel.
• Breathing and core control; proprioception and balance training.
• Strength and conditioning, as a smaller part of the role.
• Absolute discretion under a strict NDA.

Requirements

• A physiotherapy degree from the UK or Europe, with current registration in the country where you trained. What counts is where you trained, not your nationality.
• Substantial hands-on experience in manual therapy and movement-based treatment, ideally in sport.
• Fluent English for daily clinical work.
• Live-in and single-status: you relocate alone, with total flexibility to travel with the family.
• Able to start within about six weeks.

Package

• From £60,000 a year gross, depending on experience.
• Free private accommodation in, or right next to, the residence; flights and travel are always paid for by the family.
• Medical insurance is covered; professional indemnity insurance is not included.
• A permanent appointment with annual leave.
• The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.

Scope of engagement

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
