Medical Staff Talent is appointing a UK & European-trained Senior Paediatric Nurse to deliver discreet, high-fidelity nursing care within a distinguished private family in Riyadh.

Requirements

- Fluent English
- Availability to start within six weeks of offer
- Complete flexibility around the family’s calendar
- The ability to relocate alone and to travel with the family worldwide, often at short notice

Package
- From €5,000 a month, depending on the appointment
- Private household accommodation
- Relocation arranged by the family
- Annual leave with flights home
Scope of Our Role
Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
What this appointment asks of you
This is a senior paediatric post, and it is remunerated as one. The household expects a nurse who can run the children’s health programme end to end: developmental surveillance and wellness routines, acute illness management with sound escalation thresholds, coordination with international paediatric specialists and the family’s visiting physicians, medication governance across several children, and the education of parents and nannies in a way that is precise but never patronising. High-acuity paediatric experience is required because the nurse is the first clinical responder inside a private residence, often before a physician is on site. Discretion here is not a courtesy; it is a condition of employment enforced by NDA, and the interview will assess it directly.
Reading the package
Base remuneration starts from €5,000 a month, depending on the appointment. It is a gross salary, agreed directly with the family and paid into the bank account of your choice. Take advice from your own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in your circumstances.
Because accommodation and flights sit outside the base figure, the practical comparison is with your current net pay after rent, commuting and tax — not with your gross salary. Our note on reading the real numbers behind a Gulf salary walks through that arithmetic.
Your home-country tax position on departure — split-year treatment for UK residents, exit formalities elsewhere in Europe — is worth settling with an independent cross-border adviser before the first salary lands, and cost of living and net position for Gulf clinicians gives the household-level numbers.
Run your own comparison with the UK versus GCC gross package calculator or the Gulf package estimator; we are happy to walk through the result with you before any interview.
Living in Riyadh
The capital rewards clinicians who arrive with a plan for their time off: the Diplomatic Quarter’s parks and restaurants, the compounds’ pools and sports clubs, Diriyah’s historic district, and a winter calendar of concerts, sport and exhibitions that did not exist a few years ago. Accommodation for a household appointment is provided by the family, within the residence, which removes the largest relocation variable at a stroke.
Direct flights to London take around seven hours; Jeddah and the Red Sea coast are an hour’s flight for a weekend. The cultural adjustment guide covers what nobody puts in the offer letter. Every appointment is single-status: the families we work with require clinicians who relocate alone.
How we run this search
Every appointment of this kind follows the same discipline. It begins with a confidential briefing call with Vanessa, our Executive Search Lead, covering your clinical profile, your motivations and your readiness to relocate alone; nothing is written down that you have not agreed to share. Your qualifications, registration and references are then verified before anyone else is involved.
The household or its family office is briefed anonymously. Your name and documents are shared only with your written authorisation, first-stage interviews are held by video, and a final meeting is arranged in person — usually with travel organised by the household. Offer, NDA and contract follow. Our time-to-hire estimator shows how long each stage takes; the confidential hiring process and confidentiality, NDA and vetting pages explain how the household side is governed.
