Doctor Jobs in Dubai — Ongoing Opportunities for UK & European-Trained Consultants

Medical Staff Talent

Private Medical Recruitment for the Gulf | UK & European Trained Specialists

Medical Staff Talent keeps a continuously open register of UK & European-trained physicians for private appointments with UHNW families and Royal Households in Dubai: personal physicians and medical leads, concierge and longevity physicians, and sub-specialist consultants retained to a single family’s clinical suite. It is a standing pipeline, not an advertised vacancy — when a Dubai household briefs us, the physicians on this register whose specialty and seniority fit are contacted directly and in confidence.

Who We Place You With

  • Royal Households — private clinical suites and medical wings within the residence, staffed for one family
  • UHNW Families and family offices — Dubai has the Gulf’s densest concentration of family offices, and a growing number are building their own medical teams

The Dubai Market for Private Physicians

Dubai’s private-household mandates are led by family medicine and longevity: the personal physician who holds continuity for the principal, coordinates specialists across the city’s private hospitals and travels with the family. Behind that sit sub-specialist appointments — interventional cardiology, endocrinology and metabolic medicine, dermatology and aesthetic longevity, paediatrics — retained by families who prefer their consultant in the house rather than on a waiting list. Most mandates are full-time and live-out; a significant minority travel with the family through the Mediterranean summer. The physicians who succeed here are comfortable with clinical autonomy and no department around them, and with a principal who expects answers rather than referrals. Our guide to what a household actually retains a concierge physician for reads the brief the way a family office writes it.

Current Physician Mandates in Dubai

The consultant and physician appointments below are live on our desk today; the register exists for the ones that are never published.

Credential Standard

Every physician on this register holds a UK CCT or CESR with GMC specialist registration, or a European specialist title recognised at consultant level, together with current registration in good standing and a practice history that survives primary source verification — the specialist register is the credential Gulf households check first. Concierge and family-medicine physicians are expected to bring longevity and preventative practice; sub-specialists are expected to bring the case volume that justifies a household’s investment. DataFlow verification is completed before a profile is presented. Full detail is on our Candidates page.

Licensing in Dubai (DHA)

Dubai licenses physicians through the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) on the Sheryan platform. A UK CCT or CESR on the GMC specialist register, or a European specialist title, is classified at consultant level under the UAE’s unified professional qualification requirements, and consultants from Tier 1 jurisdictions are generally exempt from the licensing assessment. The sequence is eligibility, DataFlow primary source verification, then registration and — once the sponsoring facility is confirmed — the licence itself. Treating inside a private residence must sit under a licensed home-healthcare or facility arrangement, which we settle with the household before you accept. Our DHA licensing blueprint and our note on the difference between DHA registration and a DHA licence are the two documents to read first. Our Gulf Healthcare Licensing Support service walks you through the file stage by stage.

Typical Package

  • £240,000–£400,000 tax-free per annum on current Dubai mandates — concierge and family-medicine physicians from £240,000; sub-specialist consultants and medical leads towards the upper end
  • Furnished accommodation or a housing allowance, annual flights, comprehensive private medical cover and medical indemnity arranged by the household
  • End-of-service gratuity under UAE labour law, and travel days paid when the family moves
  • Strict confidentiality throughout

Living in Dubai

Dubai is the Gulf’s most internationally fluent city, and for a clinician arriving with a family it is also the easiest to navigate. Royal and UHNW residences cluster along the coast — Jumeirah, Umm Suqeim and the Palm — and inland across Emirates Hills, Dubai Hills and Al Barari, and most appointments provide housing within reach of the principal rather than leaving you to the rental market. British-curriculum schooling is abundant, direct flights reach London in around seven hours, and the tax-free package is straightforward to bank. Our district-by-district guide to Dubai for clinician families covers catchments, commute times and the questions to ask before you accept an address.

How This Register Works

Dubai households brief us discreetly and expect a shortlist within days, not a campaign. Registering means you are already verified, classified and briefed when that call comes — you are not applying to one advertised role.
