Medical Staff Talent
Private Medical Recruitment for the Gulf | UK & European Trained Specialists
Medical Staff Talent keeps a continuously open register of UK & European-trained physicians for private families in Jeddah: family estates on the northern coast, private clinical wings, and the family offices of the Kingdom’s oldest trading houses. It is a standing pipeline rather than a single advertised vacancy — when a Jeddah household confirms a mandate, the consultants on this register who fit are approached directly and in confidence. Appointments are based in Jeddah and continue aboard the family’s yacht in the Mediterranean when the family travels. When you travel with the family, all local arrangements (visa, licensing and coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
Who We Place You With
- Private Families — family estates and private clinical wings along the Obhur–Corniche corridor
- Family Offices — Jeddah’s long-established merchant families, several of whom now retain physicians directly
The Jeddah Market for Consultant Physicians
Jeddah’s physician mandates are leadership and acute-care appointments rather than concierge appointments: a Medical Director and Consultant in Internal Medicine to a private family, a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care holding sole clinical charge within a private family estate, and a Consultant Paediatrician to a private family. The city’s private hospitals are strong, so the household physician’s role is to lead — set the standard, run the private wing, decide when the principal is treated at home and when in hospital. Jeddah households are traditional in their expectations and generous in their loyalty. Our brief on internal-medicine and critical-care consultant demand in the Gulf is the closest description of what these appointments require.

Credential Standard
Every physician on this register holds a UK CCT or CESR with GMC specialist registration, or a European specialist title recognised at consultant level, together with current registration in good standing and a practice history that stands up to verification — the specialist register is the credential Gulf households check first. Concierge and family-medicine physicians are expected to bring longevity and preventative practice; sub-specialists are expected to bring the case volume that justifies a household’s investment. Credentials are verified at source before a profile is presented. Full detail is on our Candidates page.
Scope of Our Role
Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.
Typical Package
- £260,000–£410,000 tax-free per annum on current Jeddah mandates — consultant paediatrics from £260,000; medical directors to £410,000
- Private quarters within the estate; annual flights
- Sole clinical charge of a private wing, with procurement input over its equipment
- Strict confidentiality throughout
Living in Jeddah
Jeddah is the Kingdom’s Red Sea gateway — coastal, mercantile and noticeably more relaxed in tempo than the capital. Private family residences line the northern coast from the Corniche through Obhur, where much of the city’s private medical activity is concentrated, and every appointment is live-in and single-status, with accommodation provided within the residence. King Abdulaziz International Airport’s new terminal connects directly to London and the European hubs; the historic Al-Balad district, the Jeddah Yacht Club and the Red Sea diving coast shape weekends. The climate is humid, the households are long-established, and the guidance in our country-by-country relocation guide applies here with a coastal accent.
How This Register Works
Jeddah families brief through trusted intermediaries and value discretion above speed. Registering means the introduction is already made when a mandate opens — you are not applying to one advertised role.
What Every Family Asks of You
- Availability to start within six weeks of offer.
- Complete flexibility around the family’s calendar.
- The ability to relocate alone and to travel with the family worldwide, often at short notice.
