Medical Staff Talent is appointing a Senior UK & European-trained Physiotherapist to a Royal Household in Riyadh, delivering post-operative recovery and longevity-focused rehabilitation from a dedicated private treatment suite.

The caseload spans complex post-surgical recovery for the principal and family members alongside ongoing performance and longevity protocols. Programme design is set clinically, without institutional protocol constraint, and sessions are strictly one-to-one.

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree in Physiotherapy from a Tier-1 UK or European institution, with registration through HCPC, CORU or an equivalent European regulator.
  • Minimum six years’ experience, including substantive post-surgical and orthopaedic rehabilitation.
  • Comfort designing longevity and performance protocols alongside clinical recovery work.
  • Demonstrated discretion in confidential family environments.
  • Fluent English.

What this appointment asks of you

Complex post-surgical recovery for the household’s principal and family members, alongside ongoing performance and longevity protocols, delivered one-to-one from a private treatment suite equipped to your specification. The senior physiotherapist owns the suite and the programme: staged recovery plans agreed with visiting surgeons and consultants, orthopaedic rehabilitation progressed with precision, and movement protocols designed to protect function over decades. Six years including substantive post-surgical and orthopaedic rehabilitation is the threshold; comfort designing longevity work alongside clinical recovery is expected. The Riyadh household selects for clinical maturity, immaculate documentation and the discretion to work unobtrusively within a Royal Household.

Licensing sequence: SCFHS, Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia licenses clinicians through the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) on the Mumaris Plus platform. For a residential appointment the sequence runs as follows:

  • DataFlow primary source verification of your physiotherapy degree, current registration (HCPC, CORU or your European regulator), certificate of good standing and experience letters on institutional letterhead — typically four to eight weeks when the dossier is complete on submission.
  • SCFHS professional classification, which sets your title and grade; physiotherapists are classified as Specialist or Senior Specialist according to qualification and verified years, and we confirm whether an assessment applies before you commit.
  • Professional registration and licence issuance, followed by the work visa, the medical fitness examination and the iqama (residency permit) on arrival.
  • Household onboarding: NDA execution, accommodation, banking and the practical steps we coordinate with the family office before your first day.

How the package is structured

The figure quoted above — £88,000 – £118,000 per annum — is base remuneration, and it is paid tax-free: Saudi Arabia levies no personal income tax on employment earnings, so the number on the offer is the number that arrives.

Accommodation, flights and medical cover are provided in addition to base, which is what makes the net position so different from a UK or European salary: with housing and travel carried by the household, most of the base figure is savings capacity.
