Private Medical Recruitment for the Gulf | UK & European Trained Specialists

Medical Staff Talent is appointing a UK & European-trained Registered Nurse to a dedicated private care team in Dubai, supporting a distinguished principal at home and throughout international travel. The appointment is permanent, with annual leave.

The Mandate

Continuous nursing care for an octogenarian principal as part of a permanent team of four nurses, placed in pairs alternating daily shifts of 8 or 12 hours. The remit covers medication management, ongoing monitoring of chronic conditions and close coordination with the wider care team and external specialists wherever the principal is in residence.

Clinical Environment

A permanent care team of four nurses, two physiotherapists and a doctor, structured for uninterrupted round-the-clock coverage. There is no caseload beyond the principal. The post is based in Dubai and travels internationally with the household.

Requirements

  • BSN or equivalent, holding current Registered Nurse status
  • Minimum four years’ recent acute hospital experience
  • Confidence managing medication governance and chronic conditions independently
  • Composure and absolute discretion within a private household
  • Fluent English
  • Availability to start within six weeks of offer
  • Complete flexibility around the family’s calendar
  • The ability to relocate alone and to travel with the family worldwide, often at short notice
  • Nurses are always placed in pairs — two nurses alternating shifts — to protect continuity of care

Scope of Our Role

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.

What this appointment asks of you

The principal is in his eighties and the care team — four nurses, two physiotherapists and a doctor — is structured for uninterrupted round-the-clock coverage at home in Dubai and wherever the household travels. The nurse’s remit is medication management, ongoing monitoring of chronic conditions, and close coordination with the team and with external specialists; working in pairs means there is always a colleague, and the travel means there is always a plan to make. Four years of recent acute hospital experience and confidence managing chronic conditions independently are the requirements. This is a permanent, live-in appointment with the family, with annual leave.

How the package is structured

The package starts from €5,000 a month, depending on the appointment. It is a gross salary, agreed directly with the family and paid into the bank account of your choice. Take advice from your own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in your circumstances.

Accommodation and flights are provided in addition to base, which is what makes the net position so different from a UK or European salary: with housing and travel carried by the household, most of the base figure is savings capacity. Living in Dubai

Dubai needs little introduction: a global hub with direct flights to almost everywhere, a residential market that runs from Jumeirah and the Palm to the villa communities of Dubai Hills and Arabian Ranches, and a service culture built around people who arrive from abroad. Household appointments normally include accommodation provided by the family — private quarters within the residence — so the practical question is how you will spend your time off.

Winters are the reason people stay; summers are hot and lived indoors or on the water early in the day. London is around seven hours by direct flight.
