Nurse Jobs in Dubai — Ongoing Opportunities for UK & European-Trained Nurses

Medical Staff Talent

Private Medical Recruitment for the Gulf | UK & European Trained Specialists

Medical Staff Talent keeps a continuously open register of UK & European-trained nurses for private duty, maternity and specialist nursing appointments with private families in Dubai. It is a standing pipeline rather than a single advertised vacancy: when a Dubai household confirms a mandate — a birth, a discharge, a change in a principal’s condition — the nurses on this register whose specialism fits are contacted directly and confidentially, often within days.

Who We Place You With

  • Private Families — private residences with in-house medical suites and standing nursing teams
  • Family Offices — Dubai’s family offices, several of which now run care teams for an elderly principal or a growing family

The Dubai Market for Private Nurses

Dubai’s nursing mandates are the most varied in the Gulf: private duty nurses holding continuity for one principal inside the residence, private maternity nurses appointed from late pregnancy through the post-natal months, paediatric nurses within a family care unit, geriatric and longevity nursing for an octogenarian principal, and the occasional VIP flight nurse working private aviation out of Dubai. Every appointment is permanent and live-in, with annual leave; once in post, the nurse travels continuously with the family across several countries. Nurses are always placed in pairs — two permanent nurses alternating daily shifts of 8 or 12 hours — to protect continuity of care. The nurses who thrive are those who can carry sole clinical responsibility without a ward around them and who understand that discretion is part of the clinical skill — our note on the private VIP nurse in Dubai says why.

Current Nursing Mandates in Dubai

The nursing appointments below are live on our desk today; the register exists for the ones that are filled before they are ever written up.

Credential Standard

Every nurse on this register holds a UK (NMC), Irish (NMBI) or EU-recognised nursing registration in good standing, a BSc or equivalent, and a minimum of three years’ post-registration practice — with most private family appointments calling for five or more, in intensive care, paediatrics, neonatal, maternity or complex medical nursing. Credentials are verified at source before a profile is ever shown to a client, and keeping your home registration alive keeps the door back open — here is how. Full detail is on our Candidates page.

Scope of Our Role

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family’s own office and advisers.

Typical Package

  • From €5,000 a month, depending on the appointment
  • Medical insurance is covered; professional indemnity insurance is not included. Flights and travel are always paid for by the family.
  • Live-in quarters within the residence and annual flights on confirmed placement
  • Once in post, you travel continuously with the family across several countries; flights and travel are always paid for by the family
  • Strict confidentiality, under NDA, throughout

The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.

Living in Dubai

Dubai is the Gulf’s most internationally fluent city, and for a clinician relocating alone it is also the easiest to navigate. Private family residences cluster along the coast — Jumeirah, Umm Suqeim and the Palm — and inland across Emirates Hills, Dubai Hills and Al Barari, and every appointment provides accommodation within the residence rather than leaving you to the rental market. Appointments are single-status; direct flights reach London in around seven hours, and the gross salary is paid into the bank account of your choice.

How This Register Works

Households in Dubai often need a nurse within weeks and fill the post from a verified register rather than an advertisement. Registering means your credentials are already checked when the brief arrives — you are not applying to one advertised role.

What every family asks of you

  • Availability to start within six weeks of offer.
  • Complete flexibility around the family’s calendar.
  • The ability to relocate alone and to travel with the family worldwide, often at short notice.
  • Nurses are always placed in pairs — two nurses alternating shifts — to protect continuity of care.
