Medical Staff Talent is placing a Sports Medicine and Longevity Specialist with a private family based in Dubai.

The physician operates with total clinical autonomy over the family’s physical health, regenerative recovery and preventive longevity regimens — maintaining continuous oversight both in residence and on international travel.

The Mandate

Candidate Requirements

  • Tier-1 certification in Sports Medicine, PM&R or Family Practice — Swiss FMH, UK CCT or an equivalent European fellowship.
  • Minimum six years post-certification with high-performance athletes or executive clientele.
  • Exceptional diplomatic composure and complete commitment to strict NDAs.
  • Eligibility for DHA licensing.

What this appointment asks of you

The physician designs and oversees the family’s physical health, regenerative recovery and preventive longevity programmes, and directs an internal team of physiotherapists and private nurses to deliver them. It is a leadership appointment as much as a clinical one: you set the protocols, you decide which diagnostics and modalities are worth the family’s time, you brief the team, and you travel with the principals so that oversight is continuous. Sports medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation or family practice backgrounds with high-performance or executive clientele fit the brief; what the family will probe at interview is your evidence base, your ability to say what does not work, and your composure with a demanding, well-informed patient group.

Licensing sequence: DHA, Dubai

Dubai licenses clinicians through the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) on its Sheryan platform. For a residential appointment the sequence is:

  • DataFlow primary source verification of your primary medical degree, specialist certification (CCT, CCST, Facharzt or the equivalent European fellowship), current registration, certificate of good standing and experience letters — typically four to eight weeks with a complete dossier.
  • DHA eligibility assessment: Tier-1 specialist certification generally exempts you from the DHA assessment, and consultant-grade eligibility follows the verified CV.
  • Issue of the eligibility letter, then licence activation under the licensed private medical entity associated with the household, followed by the residence visa and Emirates ID.
  • Household onboarding: NDA execution, accommodation, banking and the practical steps we coordinate with the family office before your first day.

How the package is structured

The figure quoted above — £270,000 – £310,000 per annum — is base remuneration, and it is paid tax-free: the UAE levies no personal income tax on employment earnings, so the number on the offer is the number that arrives.

The household or its family office is briefed anonymously. Your name and documents are shared only with your written authorisation, first-stage interviews are held by video, and a final meeting is arranged in person — usually with travel organised by the household.
