Consultant Physician — Royal Household, Doha

Medical Staff Talent is appointing a Western-trained Consultant Physician as personal medical lead to a Royal Household in Doha. This is a permanent, continuity appointment governed by strict confidentiality.

The Mandate

The appointed clinician becomes the principal medical authority for the Principal and immediate family. The remit covers clinical assessment and longitudinal management, optimisation of chronic conditions, acute presentation, coordination of specialist referral across the Household’s international network, and travel with the family where required.

This is not rotational cover. It is a single-Principal appointment built on permanence, and the Household selects for judgement and discretion before anything else.

Clinical Environment

Care is delivered within a private residential environment supported by a dedicated clinical suite. The position carries full clinical sovereignty — no throughput target, no shared diary, no administrative committee standing between assessment and decision. Diagnostic and specialist resources are procured as the clinician specifies, through an unconstrained material pipeline.

Requirements

• Board-certified Physician with a minimum of eight years’ post-fellowship or senior general practice experience
• Training and licensure in a Tier-1 Western system — UK, Ireland, North America, Oceania, or Western and Northern Europe
• Demonstrable experience of continuity care at principal level, or comparable single-patient responsibility
• Absolute discretion; the appointment is governed by a strict non-disclosure agreement
• Fluent English

• £300,000 – £370,000 tax-free, fully liquid and reviewed annually
