Medical Staff Talent
Private Medical Recruitment for the Gulf | UK & European Trained Specialists
Medical Staff Talent keeps a continuously open register of UK & European-trained physiotherapists for private duty rehabilitation and longevity physiotherapy with Royal Households and UHNW private estates in Doha. It is a standing pipeline rather than a single advertised vacancy — Doha households brief us privately, and the physiotherapists on this register who fit are contacted the day a mandate is confirmed.
Who We Place You With
- Royal Households — dedicated private treatment suites within sovereign residences
- UHNW Families — private estates in Al Waab, Al Rayyan and West Bay
The Doha Market for Private Physiotherapists
Doha’s physiotherapy desk is small and well paid: a Physiotherapist for private duty rehabilitation to a Royal Household, delivering one-to-one rehabilitation and longevity programmes from a dedicated private treatment suite at £92,000–£118,000, and a Senior Rehabilitation Physiotherapist providing single-patient mobility and acute recovery care within a UHNW private estate. Both are continuity appointments built on a relationship with one principal, coordinated with visiting consultants from Hamad Medical Corporation, Aspetar and Sidra. Qatar’s households are private to a degree that surprises even clinicians used to the Gulf; the reward is tenure. Our brief on private duty physiotherapy for Royal Households and UHNW families and our guide to evaluating a physiotherapy job offer in the Gulf are the reads.

Credential Standard
Every physiotherapist on this register holds HCPC registration or an EU-recognised equivalent, a BSc or MSc in physiotherapy, and at least three years of post-qualification practice in musculoskeletal, neurological, sports or post-operative rehabilitation; manual therapy skill is assumed, and a longevity or performance specialism is increasingly what separates a shortlisted profile from the rest. HCPC registration opens the door but does not license you — credentials are confirmed through DataFlow primary source verification before any client sees a profile. Full detail is on our Candidates page.
Licensing in Qatar (DHP)
Qatar licenses physiotherapists through the Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP) at the Ministry of Public Health — formerly QCHP — dossier first: DataFlow primary source verification, evaluation of your physiotherapy degree and post-qualification experience, the Qatar Prometric examination for physiotherapists where no exemption applies, registration, then the licence once the sponsoring household’s facility is confirmed. The DHP is exacting about the practice-history section; a verified, gap-free dossier is the difference between weeks and months. Our DHP licensing guide and the seven rules for avoiding delays in Doha cover the detail. Our Gulf Healthcare Licensing Support service walks you through the file stage by stage.
Typical Package
- £75,000–£118,000 tax-free per annum on current Doha mandates — UHNW estate rehabilitation from £75,000; Royal Household private duty rehabilitation to £118,000
- A villa or quarters within the residence, annual flights and comprehensive private medical cover
- Qatar’s end-of-service gratuity and no personal income tax
- Strict confidentiality, under NDA, throughout
Living in Doha
Doha is compact, exceptionally safe and easy to navigate once you know its logic: West Bay and The Pearl for waterfront living, Lusail rising to the north, and the villa compounds of Al Waab and Al Rayyan for families who want gardens and schools within walking distance. Households retaining clinicians generally provide accommodation in one of those districts, and the Doha Metro and the airport’s proximity make the daily geography simple. Hamad International Airport flies non-stop to London several times a day. Our guide to Doha’s compounds and schools for clinician families is the practical companion to this page.
How This Register Works
Doha’s households rarely replace a physiotherapist they trust, so openings are infrequent and never public. Registering means you are considered when one arises — you are not applying to one advertised role.
